Many individuals find themselves asking questions such as: "What is the meaning of all of this?", "What is my purpose?" , "What is reality/ free will/ illusion?". These are just a few examples of questions that may contribute to feelings of existential dread or existential crises. With existential psychotherapy we seek to identify not just what gives your life meaning, but how you can meaningfully interact with the events of your life to feel as though you have purpose, personal responsibility, and direction.
With an extensive history in leading yoga classes, Taylor utilizes the knowledge and experience she has gained "on the mat" to help clients become more connected to their physical experience, to more mindfully approach life, and to feel safer in their bodies. Mindfulness and yoga have been shown to reduce experiences of anxiety, depression, trauma, and other disturbances to our state of homeostasis.
With the ever shifting landscape of the world, sometimes coming in to be physically present for a therapy session is unrealistic. In order to best serve the needs of a changing landscape, telehealth therapy sessions are available to those who need it.
